The project involves the expansion and restyling of the Ruggeri Porte & Serramenti showroom at its headquarters in Piadena Drizzona.
At present, the exhibition area dedicated to window and door systems — including windows and solar shading solutions — together with the operational offices, is entirely located on the ground floor of the industrial building, covering a total area of approximately 400 square meters.
The intervention provides for a doubling of the exhibition space through the recovery and adaptive reuse of the first floor, which is currently used as storage. This strategy makes it possible to significantly broaden the product display, introducing a new range that was previously absent: interior doors, security doors, and interior finishes, including flooring and wall coverings. The new layout thus supports a comprehensive narrative of the residential project, emphasizing the continuity between the building envelope and interior design.
From a functional perspective, the spatial organization has been rethought to enhance both customer experience and operational efficiency. The ground floor retains the offices dedicated to reception and client consultations, in close connection with the main exhibition area. The first floor, on the other hand, accommodates the executive offices alongside a new multipurpose room designed for meetings, supplier presentations, and professional training sessions.
The intervention therefore goes beyond a mere physical expansion, representing an evolution of the company’s identity and transforming the showroom into a space for consultation and training, as well as exhibition.
