The DC House project was born from a young couple’s need to renovate and modernize their home, aiming to improve its comfort and quality of life. The project involved reconfiguring the interior spaces of the terraced house where they already lived, transforming the living area into a large open space that integrates the living room and kitchen into a single, functional space. From here, a small corridor leads to the sleeping area, consisting of a double bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower. All rooms have been designed with a modern feel, favoring light tones and a palette of grays, enhanced by bolder color accents in the furnishings. Particular attention was paid to the lighting, designed to ensure comfort and atmosphere thanks to a combination of indirect lighting, spotlights, and LED strips. In addition to the renovation of the mezzanine floor, a new internal staircase was built connecting the basement, previously accessible only from the outside via the garage overhead door. This level now houses a relaxation room/recreation area and the garage and laundry space.
