Start of Work on DC House

With the new year a new construction site begins…

The renovation works on a terraced house in via Ca’ del Vescovo in Cremona have begun. The project, carried out in collaboration with the architect Matteo Mariotti, involves a general reorganization of the interiors, with the creation of an open space for the living area, the enlargement of the double bedroom and the bathroom, to the detriment of the two existing hallways which will be removed. The construction of a small extension on the rear facade, containing a resin concrete staircase, allows the indoor connection of the mezzanine floor with the basement, where we find the cellar and garage. In addition to the internal restyling, energy efficiency works will be carried out by replacing the double wooden and aluminum windows with high-performance PVC windows, replacing the boiler and creating underfloor heating. Internally, all the plaster will be redone, new wood-effect stoneware floors will be created, the old doors will be replaced with new white lacquered doors and false ceilings will be created with LEDs and recessed spotlights to make the environment modern and welcoming, in addition to the total renovation of the plumbing and electrical systems.
